About Iftah Burman - Founder and Speaker
Iftah Burman, founder of the Middle East Learning Academy, is a Middle East geopolitics expert, and a veteran tour educator of Israel. Iftah speaks with foreign officials, members of the intelligence community and security forces, academics and students. Additionally, Iftah acts as a director of senior-level national-security missions to Israel, of US government officials, US military officers, and think-tank experts. Iftah also provides geopolitical commentary for English speaking news outlets.
Iftah is a PhD candidate in Middle East studies, focusing on Hizballah and Syria at the Bar-Ilan University. Iftah received his BA in Political Science and Middle East Studies, and MA in Contemporary Middle East History.
On his briefings and field tours Iftah provides analysis on Israeli national security, Hizballah, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and peace process, Jerusalem and the Security fence, and Hamas and the Gaza area.
Iftah has worked with organizations such as the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, AIPAC, Birthright Israel, Maccabee Task Force, and others. Iftah had the honor of speaking at Harvard U., Tufts, UPenn, and many other distinguished academic institutions.
